چکیده
Nickel–Tungsten–Titanium carbide (Ni–W–TiC) coatings were produced by pulse electrodeposition from a Ni–W electrolyte containing TiC particles. The effects of concentration in the on morphology, crystallite size, microstrain, mechanical, tribology and electrochemical properties reinforced co-depositions investigated. highest hardness 8.3 GPa modulus elasticity 207 observed case coating at 15 g/L electrolyte. increase H/E H3/E2 ratios led to displaying excellent wear resistance Ni–W–TiC besides high plastic deformation. A direct correlation was between nanoindentation results co-depositions. It has also been shown impedance spectroscopy potentiodynamic polarization analysis that particles can improve because their barrier effect.

Effect of Gas Ratio on Tribological and Corrosion Properties of Ion Beam Sputter Deposited TiN Coatings
Titanium nitride thin films were grown on 304 stainless steel substrates at various nitrogen/argon flow ratios by ion beam sputtering (IBS) technique. The current research is a follow up study on the influence of gas ratio on structural and corrosion properties in the TiN coated 304 stainless steel. Film structural identification of phases was performed using X-ray diffractometry (XRD). Sca...
متن کاملEFFECTS OF CO-DEPOSITION OF CR2O3 AND MoS2 ON CORROSION PROPERTIES OF NANOCOMPOSITE ELECTROLESS NICKELCOATING
Abstract: Electroless Nickel (EN) composite coatings embedded with Cr2O3 and/or MoS2 particles were deposited to combine the characters of both Cr2O3 and MoS2 into one coating in this study. The effects of the co-deposited particles on corrosion behavior of the coating in 3.5% NaCl media were investigated. The results showed that both Ni-P and Ni-P composite coatings had significant improvement...
متن کاملAn Investigation of Tribological Properties of CN and TiCN Coatings
Today the tool industry on a worldwide basis uses hard, wear-resistant, and low-friction coatings produced by different processes such as electrochemical or electroless methods, spray technologies, thermochemical, chemical-vapor deposition (CVD), and physical vapor deposition (PVD). In the current work, two different coatings, nitrocarburized (CN) and titanium carbonitride (TiCN) on M2-grade to...
